Learn, ERMI reference.
Reference content for understanding what an ERMI test does and doesn't measure, the species on the standard panel and beyond, and the mycotoxins associated with indoor mold growth. Educational reference only; no clinical interpretation.

The 82-species story
The EPA developed MSQPCR assays for 82 species/groups. Vesper et al. 2007 selected 36 of them for the ERMI calculation. This is the methodology anchor for every extended-panel result.
